Funding

The development was initiated with financial support from Rufford Small Grants Foundation, through projects No. 20507-B and 24652-B.

Further development of the application is financially supported by the MAVA Fundation through the project "The Dinaric Arc Karst biodiversity conservation programme", lead by the Association Hyla. The software development for this project is realised through the Biological society "Dr Sava Petrović".

The work of Miloš Popović is supported by the founds from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia, project No. 173025, 451-03-68/2020-14/200124 and 451-03-9/2021-14/200124, through the Department of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Niš. Biologer community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and development of iOS application was supported by the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the project "Biologer – Online database about biodiversity of BiH“, realised by BIO.LOG society.

Development of entire software platform was continued in the course of the project "Eco network for the future of Serbia", as part of ECO-SYSTEM program realised by Young Researchers of Serbia, and supported by Sweden.

BirdLoger was developed by Bird Protection and Study Society of Serbia. Data server is provided by SBB and it hosts BirdLoger and Biologer Taxa.
